Explore the dashboard and Cost Explorer
Summary
After cloud data syncs, use the Home dashboard for a high-level view and Cost Explorer for detailed spend analysis.

Prerequisites
- At least one connected data source with synced billing data
Steps
1. Review the Home dashboard
Open Home (/) to see:
- Current month spend and forecast
- Top 6 resources by cost
- Policy violations requiring attention
- Potential monthly savings from recommendations
- Pools exceeding budget limits
2. Drill into expenses
Click organization expense widgets or go to FinOps → Cost Explorer.
3. Use breakdown filters
Filter costs by:
- Cloud / data source
- Pool
- Owner
- Service, region, cost type
- Kubernetes namespace (when K8s is connected)
4. Inspect daily spend
Click bars in the breakdown chart to open daily expense details.
5. Try the Cost Map
Open FinOps → Cost Map for geographic spend visualization by region.
